2022 Summer Work Programs – Public Works

The Town of Castor is accepting applications for summer employees under the 2022 Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program to work from May 2 to Aug. 26, 2022. Hourly wage will range from $17.00 – $20.30 dependent upon experience or work history

The Town of Castor is also accepting applications for summer employees to work from July 4 to Aug. 26, 2022. Hourly wage will range from $15.00 – $17.91 dependent upon experience or work history. These positions will be dependent on the town receiving grant funding.

Applicants for all the above positions will be required to work a 40-hour work week within the public works, public utilities, and recreation/administration departments. Duties will include maintenance and repairs of public areas, boulevards, parks, roads, street signs, and a variety of other work. Manual labour is prevalent in these positions. All applicants must have a valid class 5 Drivers License and an abstract must accompany your application.
